An introduction to wine tasting designed for two, with a friendly, fun approach to recognising the essential attributes of wine. Together you will discover how sight, smell and taste combine glass by glass, comparing styles and grape varieties with no prior knowledge needed. What do we do? We run a guided tasting of white, red and sparkling wines from the Penedès, with a practical explanation of their aromas, flavours and characteristics, always at your own pace. In this blind tasting, sight plays no part: only smell and taste will guide you through wines from different regions and styles. With no labels and no clues, you will discover how perception changes when you let your senses do the talking, and find out whether your tastes match as closely as you think. Tasting among the vines for couples
An outdoor experience for couples who want to experience wine at its source. We begin with a walk through the estate’s vineyards to understand the soil, the grape varieties and the vine’s growing cycle, and finish with a guided tasting in the open air, with views over the Penedès. A different romantic plan to reconnect with nature, enjoy the landscape and share a glass in an unforgettable setting, especially at sunset.

What do we do? A guided walk among the vines followed by a tasting of wines made from the grapes grown right there. You will learn how the soil, the climate and the way the vines are grown leave their mark in the glass, while enjoying a private corner in the middle of nature.

Is the tasting just for the two of us, or do we share a table with other people?
The tasting for couples is a private experience: the table is exclusively yours and the sommelier is dedicated to your session only. If you prefer a more social atmosphere, we also run group tastings.
Do we need to know about wine to take part?
No. Our tastings are designed for all levels, from couples who have never done a tasting to wine enthusiasts. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to share.
Can a wine tasting for couples be given as a gift?
Yes. It is one of our most requested gifts for anniversaries, Valentine’s Day or birthdays. We provide an open-dated gift voucher so the couple can choose when to come.
Where do the tastings take place and how do we get there from Barcelona?
At our estate in Lavern (Subirats, Penedès), about 45 minutes by car from Barcelona, with train access to Lavern-Subirats station. We can also organise the tasting at a venue of your choice for a special occasion.
Can we add something special, such as an anniversary or a proposal?
Of course. We can arrange personalised touches: a special pairing, a sunset tasting among the vines, a surprise message or a bottle to take home. Tell us about the occasion in the form and we will tailor it for you.
