In Subirats, behind Cal Almirall’s farm house we find our small plot of Syrah. Some Syrah vines are affected by the Syrah Decline, which although it doesn´t affect the quality of wine,  accelerates gradually the plant’s mortality.

Syrah Decline’s shows an spectacular reddening of the leaves of the affected plants. This disease affects most of Syrah plots around the world. This phenomenon, almost exclusive to the Syrah variety, is still a mystery for wine searchers.
